Chico Event Information

Below you will find important announcements and information specific to the Chico Run for Food:

 

Online registration is closed, but you may still register for the Run!  Come to Fleet Feet Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday during packet pickup hours or register on Race Day between 7 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.

Pre-registration by November 1 at midnight (to secure your coveted Run for Food shirt!):

November 2 - November 21, 6 PM:  (Online registration closes at 6 p.m. on November 21st)

November 22 - 24

*Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
Registration is not required for children participating for FREE. T-shirt is not included, but may be purchased separately online by November 1 at midnight.

Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Registration Options:
  1. Register Online (no extra fees) - Online registration open September 1 - November 21 through 6 p.m.
  2. Register in person at Fleet Feet (241 Main Street) *cash or check only 
  3. Day of Race Registration from 7 - 8:30 a.m.
Packet Pickup
Packet pickup will be held at Fleet Feet (241 Main Street)

Monday, November 22 - 12 PM TO 5 PM **NEW** - added this year!
Tuesday, November 23 - 10 AM - 6 PM
Wednesday, November 24 - 10 AM to 6 PM.
(Race day packet pickup is at Bidwell Park starting at 7 a.m.)


Chip Timing

Chip timing WILL be offered in 2021!  


T-Shirts

All entries received by November 1 are guaranteed a t-shirt on race day. Pre-registration applies only for entries received by mail or dropped off at Fleet Feet or the Jesus Center no later than November 1 or online by the same date. For registration forms received after November 1, t-shirts will be available on a first-come, first serve basis at packet pickup while supplies last. Extra t-shirts will be available for purchase online before November 1. Standard entry includes a long-sleeved, cotton t-shirt. Short-sleeved, technical shirt upgrades are available through November 1 by online registration only.

If you pre-register for the 2021 Run for Food and do not claim your t-shirt by December 31, 2021, then your t-shirt will either be made available for other participants who late-registered for the event or may be donated.

2021 Merchandise

This year, the Run for Food will be offering 2021 Run for Food merchandise for sale online and at Packet Pickup while supplies last!

Note: Long Sleeve Shirts and Technical Shirts are available through online registration only.
