About the Weed Run for Food
Please join us for the 1st annual Run for Food! This 5k run/walk will begin and end at College of the Siskiyous Weed Campus on Thanksgiving Day, November 24, 2011 at 9 AM.
All net proceeds benefit Siskiyou Food Assistance, who has been helping local families in crisis since 1986.Enjoy our crisp mountain air and work up an appetite - all while helping the hungry of our community.
About Siskiyou Food Assistance
We are a non-profit organization that serves nutritionally balanced food boxes to those with emergent needs and children to feed. Last year alone, over 3,000 emergency food boxes were distributed. Our program exists through the generosity of businesses, churches, and individuals who share our concern for the poor.For more information, click here.
