Location
One Mile Recreation Area in Lower Bidwell Park


Course
The race will begin and end at One Mile Recreation Area in beautiful Bidwell Park. The course will follow a 5k loop through the park to the Cedar Grove Bridge and back to the One Mile area. Click here for a map.

The loop course is flat, paved and free of traffic. Baby strollers and wheelchairs welcome. No bikes, roller blades or pets please.

Entry Fees & Registration

Pre-registered by November 1:
Adults $25
Children 12 and under*, timed with bib & chip $20
Children 12 and under*, untimed, no shirt or bib FREE

After November 1, including Race Day:
All Adults, no exceptions $30
Children 12 and under*, timed with bib & chip $25
Children 12 and under*, untimed, no shirt or bib FREE

Registration is not required for children participating for FREE. T-shirt is not included, but may be purchased separately online before Nov. 1.

*Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Registration Options:

2. Register in person at Fleet Feet (241 Main Street) or Jesus Center (1297 Park Avenue) *cash or check only
3. Register Online (no extra fees)
4. Day of Race Registration: Between 7:00 and 8:30 AM. You must be in line by 8:30 AM to register for the run/walk.

Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.


Packet Pickup
Save time, avoid race day crowds! Visit Fleet Feet Sports on Tuesday, November 20 or Wednesday, November 21 from 10 AM to 6 PM.

Day of race packet pickup is available between 7:00 and 8:30 AM at One Mile Recreation Area.


Chip Timing
Run for Food utilizes computerized chip timing, which precisely records each runner’s or walker’s official time when they cross the start & finish line. Chip Timing will be available for those registered up through the end of Packet Pickup on Wednesday, November 21 and is only available while supplies last. Chip timing will not be available on race day.

Finish line closes at 10:20 AM.  Official times cannot be guaranteed for those who finish later.


T-Shirts & Awards

All entries received by November 1 are guaranteed a t-shirt on race day. Pre-registration applies only for entries received by mail or dropped off at Fleet Feet or the Jesus Center no later than November 1 or online by the same date. For registration forms received after November 1, t-shirts will be available on a first come, first serve basis while supplies last. Extra T-shirts will be available for purchase online before Nov. 1. 

Standard entry includes a long-sleeved, cotton blend t-shirt.  Short-sleeved, technical shirt upgrades are available through November 1 by online registration only.

Awards ceremony will be held near the finish line after the run/walk is concluded. Awards will be given out to the top overall female and male runners. Awards will also be given out to the top runner in each age category.  Awards are given out to chip timed runners only.


Parking
The park will be closed to vehicle traffic on race day.  Parking is limited, so when possible please make arrangements to carpool, be dropped off, or ride your bike to the event.
