We caught up with the Hill Family (Wes, Jeanna, Hayden, Landon & Audrey) who shared with us what the Run for Food means to them.

How long have you been participating in the run?

With the exception of one year that we were out of the country, we have volunteered or participated in each of the past six years of Run for Food.

What does this event mean to you?

Run for Food has been a good opportunity to get our immediate & extended family together to serve the community in a small way. Run for Food has provided an easy mechanism for family members of all ages to participate in service.

Who will be joining you this year?

Our immediate family (three kids), Jeanna's dad & wife, Jeanna's grandmother (age 86!), my parents including a friend of my mom's from Benicia, and my sister & her family from Concord. 

Some of us will walk it, some will run it, and some will volunteer it.
